Police rescue adorable dog left abandoned in Oxfordshire

Police in Oxfordshire have rescued an adorable dog which was left abandoned.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) discovered the animal in Chipping Norton on Thursday, October 17.

Officers revealed the shocking discovery was made following reports of hare coursing nearby.

The force shared the news on social media which also included a photograph of the dog which was rescued.

Police confirmed the animal is now in good hands, receiving care.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said: “Police were made aware of an abandoned dog after reports of hare coursing in Chipping Norton.

“The dog which is now receiving the care that it has sorely been missing.

“Enquiries are ongoing, please report hare coursing via 999 if in progress or via 101 or online.”
