If you’re a ’90s kid who spent your after-school hours glued to the telly watching cartoons, then this latest Lush collaboration is guaranteed to be right up your street. Remember Scooby Doo? Of course you do and, if you were a fan of the show, Lush has a big update that might tickle your fancy.
The lovable, albeit occasionally goofy, dog solved mysteries with his best mates Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred. They each brought their unique flair to the team, always unmasking the baddies at the end of each episode, earning cheers from viewers.
“And I would have gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddling kids!” The statement that reminds many of the golden days of thrilling cartoons. Lush has unveiled a limited edition Scooby Doo collaboration, featuring six fantastic products that are sure to stir up some nostalgia.
Charlie, who shares content on TikTok under the handle @charliemarilyn, showcased the “haul” she snagged from the collection, missing only one item, and followers were blown away by her finds.
“I got it all except the eyeglasses,” she revealed, first displaying the “iconic” carry case designed like the Mystery Machine, perfect for storing your goodies in, or giving the item as a gift.
Charlie then flaunted her shower jelly, revealing that there’s a “scuba diving guy in there,” describing it as an “optical illusion”. Next up was the Mystery Machine bath bomb, followed by the Scooby Doo one, which she described as “so adorable”.
“This really, really brought back nostalgic memories for me,” she enthused. She revealed the shower gel to her followers, describing the colour as “insane,” resembling an “oil slick,” and calling it “absolutely beautiful”.
Next up was the “Scooby Snacks” body spray, which sparked curiosity amongst viewers eager to discover its fragrance profile. Charlie didn’t purchase it, but the collaboration also features an eye mask designed in the distinctive shape of Velma’s spectacles.
One person enquired: “What does the body spray smell like? Is it a gourmand smell? Is it sweet? Is it very cinnamon strong?”
Charlie responded: “I said at the end of the video a brief description of the scent. I may do an in-depth video review soon.
“It smells like ginger biscuits, it’s sweet with some spice, but it dries down like a sweet ginger biscuit. You can smell some cinnamon midway through before it dries down fully”.
A Lush enthusiast questioned: “How does this compare to Yog Nog [spray]?” Charlie replied: “I wouldn’t say they’re similar at all, really. I don’t like Yog Nog, but I do like this spray. Smells like ginger biscuits”.
