Peacock announced on Wednesday morning that Dog Man, DreamWorks’ animated feature starring Pete Davidson, Lil Rel Howery, and more, is set to begin streaming exclusively on the service on May 30.

Adapted from the #1 global bestselling book series by Dav Pilkey, the author and illustrator behind kids’ phenomenon Captain Underpants, Dog Man sees a faithful police dog and his human police officer owner injured on the job. Thereafter, a harebrained surgery fuses the two of them together and Dog Man is born! As he embraces his new identity and strives to impress his Chief (Howery), Dog Man must stop the villainous Petey the Cat (Davidson) from cloning himself and creating an evil kitten, doubling his evil abilities. The story takes a turn when the kitten forges an unexpected bond with Dog Man and in the process, they discover the power of family to bring even the most hostile foes together.

Grossing over $143 million worldwide upon its release in January, Dog Man is written and directed by Peter Hastings, the creative behind projects like The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants and Pinky and the Brain, who also voiced the title role. The cast also includes Isla Fisher, Lucas Hopkins Calderon and Ricky Gervais. Karen Foster produced the film, with author Pilkey serving as executive producer.
