Bria Salmena will release her debut album ‘Big Dog’ on March 28th.

The Canadian musician may well be familiar to you, thanks to her long-standing role as front-woman of Canadian post-punk outfit FRIGS and as a vocalist in Orville Peck’s band. Turning solo, debut album ‘Big Dog’ is out this Spring.

Out on March 28th, it’s led by potent new single ‘Stretch The Struggle’. Constructed alongside producer and multi-instrumentalist Duncan Hay – one of her closest friends – there’s a visceral energy to the song, a directness that fans perhaps haven’t seen from her.

Opening up with real alacrity, ‘Stretch The Struggle’ works with palpable intent. There’s a video out, too, directed by Gennelle Cruz and David May – an apt entrance point into the album as a whole.

Tune in now.
