A woman and her 3-year-old miniature dachshund were attacked by one more dog although going for walks at an off-leash doggy park on the Gold Coast in Australia.
Bodybuilder Isabelle Payne and her pup, Lola, have been both equally “attacked unprovoked and mauled” by a bull terrier at the park on Wednesday, according to a GoFundMe submit by her fiancée, Jacob Thirkettle.
The couple’s marriage ceremony day is set to consider area in about 7 weeks.
Thirkettle, who was going for walks with Payne and Lola when they ended up attacked, explained his fiancée was injured “incredibly terribly” in her endeavor to free of charge the modest pet from the bull terrier’s mouth.

Lola was rushed to the veterinarian just after the incident and underwent surgical treatment to repair service lacerations on her back again and the fur close to her ribcage, the article exposed. The dog’s injuries could have been life-threatening if not for Payne’s efforts to help save her, Thirkettle shared in the post to increase funds for Lola’s veterinary charges and recovery.

The dachshund will involve more visits to the veterinarian and ongoing procedure, according to Information.com.au.
