Could two (UPI) — Firefighters in New Hampshire came to the rescue of a curious canine who caught her head into a hole in a tree and ended up stuck.
The Milford Fire Division explained a canine named Gracie poked her head by a hole in a tree at the rear of the Boys and Women Club in Milford and rapidly learned she could not pull it again out.
Firefighters finished up working with handheld resources to chip away at the wood and extend the hole so Gracie’s head could safely and securely be pulled again out.
“This is likely the second a person due to the fact I’ve been on the department that we have had to rescue. We have had animals in ponds and stuff, but this is the very first time we have had to pull a puppy out of a tree,” Milford Fire Assistant Chief Mark Britton advised WMUR-Tv set. “Not a widespread factor at all.”
Gracie’s homeowners said the pet dog was not injured.
