A Sydney gentleman and his canine Bella have been identified by a tuna trawler off the coast of Mexico after drifting around the Pacific Ocean for two months.
The crew filmed the minute they arrived throughout Tim Shaddock and his puppy, who survived by ingesting uncooked fish and drinking rainwater.
Footage of the rescue displays a pretty gaunt Shaddock declaring he only experienced “fishing gear, survival gear” aboard the catamaran, in accordance to information.com.au.
Shaddock experienced established sail from Mexico in April heading toward French Polynesia, but after a several months, a storm struck, destroying electric power on the catamaran.
When onboard the trawler, Shaddock spelled out he experienced experienced a “very tricky ordeal at sea”.
